In School Medical/Home Instruction Assignments

The New York State Physical Education Graduation requirement is a half credit, for all four years of High School.  Four marking periods of PE assignments are required.

Students on in school medical assignment or home instruction you will need to:

      1. Complete their Physical Education requirement through written/typed assignments provided by their Physical Education Teacher.  

  1. Complete the written test (vocabulary and information learned in the packet).                                            

For ALL Assignments:

  • Any late work will receive a penalty of 3 points per class after the due date.
  • Please make sure your name and date are on all the assignments you submit.

Students are required to submit their completed work directly to their Physical Education Teacher.

 

Marking period 1  

October 15th (first packet/assignment) November 5th (2nd packet/assignment)

Schedule a written test with your teacher for vocabulary and information in the MP 1 packet/s (completed by Nov. 10)

Marking period 2  

December 15th (first packet/assignment) and January 15th (second packet/assignment)

Schedule a written test with your teacher for vocabulary and information in the MP 2 packet/s (Completed by January 20th)

Marking period 3

March 1st (first assignment/packet) and  March 25th (second assignment/packet)

Schedule a written test with your teacher for vocabulary and information in the MP 3 packet/s (Completed by April 1st)

Marking period 4

June 1st  (for assignment/packet)

June 5th: Schedule a written test with your teacher for vocabulary and information in the MP4 packet

Grade 9

Please make sure your work is complete, detailed and well thought out

Any work submitted after the marking period due date will be a 3 point deduction
